Legislation and certification

SWINCAR e-Spider is approved as a light quadricycle L6e according to European directive 168/2013 / EC. In France, this version is accessible from 14 years old with the BSR license or with a driving license B.
Swincar e-Spider is also approved as MAGA in France (agricultural machine). In this version, the access is from the age of 18 with the driving license B or from the age of 16 for people working on a farm.
In most U.S. states, Touring Model Swincars (equipped with windshields, mirrors, headlights, taillights, and blinkers) meet all requirements for designation and registration as Low-Speed Electric Vehicles (LSEV).
