SWINCAR e-Spider : Legislation and certification

SWINCAR e-Spider is approved as a light quadricycle L6e according to European directive 168/2013 / EC. In France, this version is accessible from 14 years old with the BSR license or from the age of 18 with the driving license B.

In France, they are eligible for a government bonus of €900. Swincar e-Spider is also approved as MAGA (agricultural machine). In this version, the access is from the age of 18 with the driving license B or from the age of 16 for people working on a farm.

Although the legislation does not impose it, all e-Spiders are equipped with an extremely robust roll bar and can be fitted with safety harnesses. Like all motorized vehicles, SWINCAR e-Spiders are subject to driving rules which require use on roads open to public driving, on private sites or in authorized public spaces.
